Anett Levander (Gesang, Percussion)

In Berlin in Jazz- und Popgesang ausgebildet, übernimmt Anett Levander hier den vokalen Part. Als freischaffende Sängerin arbeitet sie seit 2000 in stilistisch sehr unterschiedlichen Musikensembles; von Jazzquartett über Bigband, von eigenen Kleinkunstprogrammen zur A-cappella Weltmusik mit Aquabella. Sie ist festes Mitglied der Tontauben und bis 2024 von Aquabella. Levander sang und singt für diverse CD- und Filmmusikproduktionen. Sie unterrichtet Gesang an Berliner Musikschulen.

Christian Raake (Saxophon, Flöte, Komponist, Arrangeur)

Geboren in Berlin, studierte Christian Raake an der HfM Hanns-Eisler Berlin Flöte und Saxophon. Später kam die Shakuhachi (japanische Bambusflöte) dazu. Neben der freiberuflichen Musikertätigkeit in verschiedenen Bandprojekten, spielte er bei vielen CD Produktionen (u.a. Mark Murphy & Till Brönner) sowie für Film, Fernsehen, Rundfunk und Theater. Christian ist langjähriges Mitglied des Saxofonquadrat für das er auch komponiert. Er lehrt an der HfM „Hanns-Eisler“, dem „Jazz-Institut-Berlin“ und an der Berliner Musikschule „Béla Bartók“.
 

Dirk Steglich (Bassklarinette)

Geboren in Süddeutschland, studierte Dirk Steglich Jazz- und Popularmusik, Hauptfach Saxophon, am Staatskonservatorium Würzburg. Er ist seit 1995 als freischaffender Musiker mit Saxophon, Klarinette und Querflöte sowie als Pädagoge in Berlin tätig. Neben Filmmusik, Studioarbeit und Theaterprojekten spielt er in diversen Bands von Modern Jazz bis hin zu freieren Genres. Mit den Bands Heliocentric Counterblast und Chiffchaff erhielt er den Studio-Preis und Förderung des Berliner Senats.

Anett Levander (vocals, percussion)
Born in Brandenburg (Havel) and trained in jazz and pop singing in Berlin, Anett Levander takes on the vocals.
As a freelance singer, she has been working stylistically in very different music ensembles since 2000; from jazz quartet to big band, from her own cabaret programs to a cappella world music.
She is a permanent member of the vocal ensemble Die Tontauben and the a capella ensemble aquabella. until 2024.
Levander has sung for various CD and film music productions.
She teaches singing at music schools in Berlin.

Christian Raake (saxophonist, flautist, composer, arranger)
Born in Berlin, Christian Raake studied flute and saxophone at the HfM Hanns-Eisler Berlin. He later took up the shakuhachi (Japanese bamboo flute).
In addition to working as a freelance musician in various band projects, he has recorded many CD productions (including Mark Murphy & Till Brönner) as well as soundtracks for film, television, radio and theater productions.
Christian is a longtime member of the Saxofonquadrat for which he also composes.
Since 2022 he has played in the newly founded BenSchu saxophone quartet.
Christian Raake arranges not only for the ensembles in which he himself is active, but also for other chamber music ensembles such as aquabella or Die Tontauben.
He has taught flute for 20 years at the Hanns-Eisler University of Music (Jazz Institute Berlin since 2005) and saxophone and flute at the Béla Bartók School of Music in Berlin since 1994.

Dirk Steglich (bass clarinet)
Born in southern Germany, Dirk Steglich studied jazz and popular music, majoring in saxophone, at the Würzburg State Conservatory. He has been working as a freelance musician with his saxophone, clarinet and flute and as a teacher in Berlin since 1995. In addition to film music, studio work and theater productions, he plays in various bands ranging from modern jazz to freer genres. With the bands Heliocentric Counterblast and Chiffchaff he received the Studio Prize and funding from the Berlin Senate.
